If you intend to collect it from the tourist information centre and you are in a hurry, remember to print out the email. Sometimes you may encounter some really stubborn staff and will take time to sort it out. Our experience is some staff at the TIC is not helpful at all.
#2
The pass is effective only for consecutive calendar days. Start using your pass early in the morning.
#3
You can use the included Airport Express tickets to go to the Zoo if you are not using it to go to the airport. The zoo is on the way.
#4
If you want to go on a RIB with Seafari Adventures Forth, be sure to book ahead. Weeks ahead! In addition, they don’t have tours everyday. I tried to book a few days in advance but I couldn’t get a place. That sucks.
#5
I would recommend skipping some attractions unless you have lots of time and energy. Please read my Edinburgh trip report 1, trip report 2 and trip report 3. If you are game, just do the Auld Reekie Terror Tour which starts at 10:30pm instead of The Huanted Underground Tour.
