I had this bag since Dec 2009 and it’s really time to review it. This camera bag is mid-sized, very well padded and I am pleased with the quality of the construction. The shoulder strap is comfortably padded. The clasps on the strap are also made of metal and not plastic such as those on the cheaper Lowepro bags. However, the black paint is easily scraped off especially when you are carrying a heavy load.
It has loads of space and also has quite a number of pockets for you to store your accessories neatly. If you are not using a 70-200 long lens, I would think there is too much space in there. The loads of space and the thick padding have become an issue for me which has stopped me from using the bag more than I should. The bag is simply too thick for me for use in crowded places, which most places in UK are. Either the bag keeps bumping into people or people keep bumping into the bag. Therefore most of the time, I would prefer to use my much smaller Lowepro Apex 140 which is perfect for my camera with a lens attached and another flash or lens. To be frank, I would really like to return this bag but given the costs of return shipping, it would just be more worth it to keep the bag.

The rain cover envelopes the bag completely but is a bit difficult to put on.
