We were warmly received by Frank and after a quick chat, we got a introduction to the Welsh language. We stayed in the attic to save some money as it is slightly cheaper. The ongoing rate was £62 versus £70 for a normal room. The catch is part of the room is at an angle which makes it impossible to shower standing up. However, there is a large communal bathroom downstairs which is furnished to a high standard. Since every room has an en-suite shower or bath, very few guests will use that bath so it should not hinder anyone from considering staying in the attic. http://www.plas-coch.co.uk/
Nights stayed: 26th and 27th May 2010
Total cost: £122
Accommodation rating: 4
Quiet location, good water pressure and good sized room. There is nothing to complain about and the beds are comfortable too.
Value rating: 4.5
Very good value for the amount of money we paid. Firstly, they provided some fruits and a couple of chocolates in your room everyday. Secondly, a snack bag is given to each guest every morning. It contains a packet drink, a small chocolate, a cereal bar, a packet of chips and a fruit. Everything inside is delicious. Since I stay in UK, I have a pretty good idea that these things will probably cost a couple of quids per bag. The breakfast is fantastic too. Good selection and great taste will set you off to a good start every morning. (please refer to ratings explanation)
