Since we were in Holiday Inn Express Bradford, we walked over to the National Media Museum. I thought that a couple of hours we will have seen everything but there is so much in this place. If you are interested in photography, the basement gallery on the history of photography will be most exciting to you. Well, it was exciting for me and we spent more time here than anticipated.
There are 6 or 7 floors of exhibits of different themes and there may be special exhibits. Starting from the basement, the exhibits progress chronologically. Starting with the history of photography, the exhibits move on to motion pictures, broadcasting and then to new media technologies. There is also a mock up of a news studio and you can broadcast and read your own news.
Globenomads review rating: 4/5 Hey itβs free! I believe the exhibits may be even better than some paid museums. Overall very enjoyable and some of the exhibits are very educational. (please refer to ratings explanation)
