Hello there! If you are new here, you might want to subscribe to the RSS feed, follow me on Twitter or like me on Facebook for the latest updates.

Finally we have managed to visit a place that UK is world famous for. Believed to be built in stages 4000 to 5000 years ago, Stonehenge retains its air of mystery till to the present day. Nobody has managed to produce conclusive evidence of its purpose. Walking in the perimeter of the stones, makes me wonder what had happened here 4000 years ago and why would people built them. The layout and design reminded me of the portal to Cybertron in the very first Transformers’ cartoon series. 4000 years later, will our future generations take time too to ponder about our seemingly meaningless sculptures and architectures?

p.s: You can not walk among the stones during normal admission hours. You would have to wait for special occasions or join special tours. Special note to any of you readers if you are planning a trip to Stonehenge.

A free audio guide is provided.
Birds seem to have better access to the stones than humans.
What the Stonehenge could have looked like.
Taking flight…
We will be back to hike the Stonehenge landscapes when the weather gets better.
