Our landlady offered us a ride to London and we took it. We reached Euston at around 11 plus and we were off to the British Museum. This museum has free admission and let me say something: It’s huge! At the end of day, we only managed to visit half of the galleries and we will be coming back another time.
The marble in this gallery were moved from the actual Parthenon in Greece. The Greek government have been trying to get them back ever since.
We had lunch at Hare and Tortoise located at Euston. The restaurant serves some reasonably priced Southeast Asian food which we ordered to try. The meat was good but the rice was terrible. I’m not sure what kind of rice they used but the rice was not cooked well. Outside was hard and dry but inside was soft and soggy. Next time it will be noodles instead.
